Featuring leading publishers from across the Asia-Pacific region, this book extravaganza showcases one of Asia’s largest collections of English, Chinese Titles, IP Products, CDs, DVDs & collectibles, Stationery and more.
Established in 2006, BookFest @ Malaysia has evolved into the country's largest trilingual book exposition, earning recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records in 2016. Co-organised with Sin Chew Media Corporation Berhad, this event aligns with POPULAR’s objective of fostering a love for reading among Malaysians from all walks of life.
Held at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), BookFest boasts more than 530 booths featuring leading publishers, books and stationery distributors from across the ASEAN and Asia Pacific regions. Serving as a platform for local and international authors to showcase their works, this annual exposition has grown significantly in its offerings.
With the theme Read 20, Rise Beyond, we celebrate not only the transformative power of reading but also the remarkable 20-year journey of BookFest @ Malaysia. Over the years, the BookFest @ Malaysia has grown into an inspiring platform, encouraging countless individuals to embrace the joy of reading. Hence, to celebrate this excitement, this year’s edition spans an impressive 100,000 sq ft, features a wide range of English, Malay, and Chinese books, along with stationery, gifts, titbits, text and assessments, IP Products, CDs, DVDs & collectibles, gadgets and IT products, as well as electronics and electrical appliances.

Running over 9 days, BookFest @ Malaysia extends across one weekends and includes Public Holiday Hari Raya.
1) Exhibition
The exhibition showcases the latest books from Malaysia, Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Belgium, as well as other countries and regions. Running from 18 to 26 March 2026, visitors can explore our exhibition from Halls 1 to 5. Halls 1 and 2 will feature Chinese Books, Text and Assessment, IP Products CDs, DVDs, & Collectibles; while Halls 4 and 5 will showcase English Books, Stationery, Gadgets & IT, and Titbits. The exhibition is open from 10 am to 10 pm daily. Admission is RM2.50 per ticket for a one-time entry, with a season pass available for RM10, allowing unlimited entry throughout the BookFest @ Malaysia 2026 promotion.
2) Events
BookFest @ Malaysia features a range of engaging activities, including meet-and-greet sessions with renowned authors, interactive workshops, competitions with fantastic prizes, and more. These events will take place at the Main Stage @ Hall 1 and Hospitality Lounge 1. Everyone is welcome to join since BookFest @ Malaysia has something in store for everyone!
Space Allocation
The English and Chinese Books, IP Products, CDs, DVDs & Collectibles, Text and Assessment, Stationery, Gadgets & IT, and Titbits will fully occupy the five adjoining halls on the Ground Floor. This layout allows for ideal visitor flow, which promises a ‘Read 20, Rise Beyond’ experience for everyone.
Shell Scheme Space
When you take up a shell scheme space, you are entitled to use a stand design. This is perfect for those who need to build a stand under time constraints, minus the hassle. The proposed packages provide the necessary options to optimise your stand’s presence. The minimum size for a shell scheme is 9sqm.
