BookFest @ Malaysia has come a long way since its inception in 2006, maturing into Malaysia’s largest trilingual book exposition, as certified by the Malaysia Book of Records in 2016. Organised by Popular Book Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and co-organised with Sin Chew Media Corporation Berhad, it perpetuates POPULAR’s lifelong mission of inculcating the love of reading amongst Malaysians of all walks! BookFest @ Malaysia hosts more than 700 booths featuring leading publishers, books and stationery distributors from across the ASEAN and Asia Pacific regions. What’s more, BookFest also serves as a platform for both local and international authors to present their written works to the audience.

This year, book lovers, get ready to unleash your excitement as the highly anticipated 17th edition of BookFest @ Malaysia is finally making its comeback at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre after a three-year hiatus caused by the pandemic! The BookFest will take place over a 9-day period from 10am – 10pm, on 3 – 11 June 2023, stretching over two weekends (two Saturdays and two Sundays). The admission is RM2.50 per ticket for one-day entry, or RM10 per season pass for unlimited entry throughout the promotion. This is not your ordinary book fair, but a vibrant and thrilling celebration of literature that promises to ignite your passion for reading. With the theme "Reunite & Excite!", we hope to reunite with you again as this year's BookFest @ Malaysia is going to be more exciting than ever before!

1. 1) Exhibition

   This year, BookFest @ Malaysia 2023 shall encompass an area of 100,000 sq ft, whereby Halls 1 and 2 will feature a dazzling array of Chinese books, text and assessment materials, mind-blowing CDs & DVDs, and exciting Anime & Comics Fest. If English is more your style, Halls 4 and 5 are the places to be, featuring an awe-inspiring collection of English books, state-of-the-art gadgets & IT. This year, we will also highlight cutting-edge stationery and mouth-watering titbits at Hall 4.

   BookFest @ Malaysia offers diverse fun-filled and exciting activities, including meet-and-greet sessions with local and oversea authors, interactive workshops, competitions with great prizes, and much more. These events and activities cater to visitors from all walks of life. Put simply, there’s something of everything for everyone at BookFest @ Malaysia! So, don't miss these engaging events, which will take place at Main Stage @ Hall 1 and Hospitality Lounge 1!

The English and Chinese Books, Text & Assessments, CDs & DVDs, Anime & Comics Fest, Gadgets & IT, Stationery, Titbits will fully occupy the 5 adjoining halls on the Ground Floor. This layout allows for ideal visitor flow, which promises everyone a “Reunite & Excite!” experience.

When you take up a shell scheme space, you are entitled to use a stand design. This is perfect for those who need to build a stand under time-constraint, minus the hassle. The proposed packages provide the necessary options to optimise your stand’s presence. The minimum size for a shell scheme is 9 sqm.
